wickedgoblinkings "At Home in Appalachia" in particular reminds me of a familiar quiet edge I have walked alone many times. The last minute equating to arrival and the completion of the day. It is a great transition piece when putting together a mix.

about

This collection of work is, in essence a commitment to healing. I have personally lost many people over the last few years and never gave myself a proper way to grieve. I was either too busy or too broke to make funerals and memorials. Lurking in the back of my mind, eating away at my mental health. It was important to turn inward and give myself the opportunity to flesh out these emotions--to create something out of them so they could finally be put to rest. Thus allowing my mind to be put to ease. These works of musical notation are not only a goodbye to those gone, but also a gesture of gratitude for those still here. Thank you, as the listener for sharing in my moments of mourning. Bang your head and pump your first when you see fit--it will mean the world to me.
